Flood the market for change

An interesting idea is that if you hate something you should create a platform that makes it easier to create more of that thing.
For example if you hate video games, create a platform that makes it easier to create games. This will drive an influx of market participants and make it less desirable to be the industry as is. Forcing innovation and change.

Services that try on n squared network effects are somewhat impervious to this strategy (but not entirely).

So now indie game development is basically a hobby and not a business. To make money in it, you have to do something great. Great story telling (double fine/monument valley). Make the game actually provide real life utility (fold at home). Businessmen can’t just show up anymore they have to do awesome stuff.

Our purpose = battle entropy = imagine how you will overcome the challenges + make attempts

Our job is to imagine a better future, because if we can imagine it, we can create it. But it starts with that imagination. The future that we can imagine shouldn’t be a dystopian vision of robots that are wiping us out, of climate change that is going to destroy our society. It should be a vision of how we will rise to the challenges that we face in the next century, that we will build an enduring civilization, and that we will build a world that is better for our children and grandchildren and great-grandchildren. It should be a vision that we will become one of those long-lasting species rather than a flash in the pan that wipes itself out because of its lack of foresight.
